Pro-Life Voter Guides
Vermont Right to Life Political Committee
Pro-Life Voter Guides to the November 8th, 2022 General Election
These voter guides (links below) list the candidates who are recommended by the Vermont Right to Life Political Committee. Candidates were evaluated for their position on H.57 (Act 47), legislation that put unrestricted, unregulated abortion-on-demand into Vermont statute, as well as Proposal 5, the proposed amendment that would enshrine abortion in the Vermont Constitution. A candidate’s position on physician-assisted suicide was also considered.- Some of these candidates are fully pro-life. Others are recommended because they oppose abortion-on-demand, while their opponents do not. A few candidates are recommended even though their positions are unknown at this time, because their opponents are known to be 100% pro-abortion and are supported by Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion organizations. These candidates are marked with an asterisk (*).
- Information was obtained through voting records, public statements, candidate survey responses, and personal conversations. Candidates were evaluated only on pro-life issues. You may want to consider other factors.
- You can opt not to vote in certain races if you wish. This will be counted as a “blank vote” and can send a message of dissatisfaction with the choice of candidates.
- If you are not registered to vote, you can get registered up to and including election day.
- You do not have to vote by mail. Polling places will be open on election day for those who want to vote in person.
- If you do vote early, follow the instructions exactly. Mark your ballot with black pen. It is not recommended not to use a Sharpie or marker as it can bleed through the paper.
- If you return your ballot by mail, it is suggested that you mail it by Monday, Oct. 31. The ballot has to be received by election day; a postmark date is not sufficient.
- Your ballot may also be dropped off at your Town Clerk’s office or at the polls on election day. A relative or friend may drop your completed ballot off for you. If you go to vote in person, you are encouraged to bring your ballot with you.

Wheeler: Ballots, not Bullets, will Stop the Farcists
by Ed Wheeler
Occasionally people will make observations about our national and local situation and then talk of armed uprising. The problem I have with this is that our American founders gave us a brilliant system for peaceably achieving change without resorting to violence and too many have ignored it! In many cases these would be armed patriots have never attended even one town or county party meeting. They have not run for office or actively supported candidates. They have not gone to a school board meeting or any other public meeting. They have ignored many opportunities to assert their role as one of “We the People”.
As long as the Declaration of Independence (our values) and the U.S. Constitution (our system) stand as the defining national documents we have a way to peacefully make a difference. A republic does not run itself. It demands participation. Patient, steady participation is required. Destiny belongs to those who show up and fulfill their responsibility as citizens.
Meanwhile, the farcists among us are doing all they can to provoke violence so they can in return crush their political opposition through sheer force. William Federer has done a great job of documenting this. For example, Hitler burned the German legislative building but blamed it on his political opponents who were then rounded up and eliminated. More recently the President of Turkey staged his own attempted assassination, blamed his opposition and then eliminated all of them. Sounds like J6 right?
The point now is they WANT us to get violent so they have an excuse to eliminate us. We must not give them this excuse. Instead we must replace them by voting them out of office. We have to overwhelm the most extreme efforts to rig the system.
We are being ruled by evil, devious and foolish people! They want to “transform” our country and make it another failed socialist experiment! Don’t let them!

Dave Weeks to Run for VT Senate
***MEDIA RELEASE***
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Dave Weeks
May 12, 2022 [email protected] /802-417-9013
Dave Weeks Will Run for Rutland County Senate Seat
Rutland County, VT---The Rutland County Republicans are pleased to announce that Dave Weeks, originally from Wallingford, now residing in Proctor is joining the race to represent Rutland County as one of our State Senators.
Foremost on Dave’s agenda is regional economic rejuvenation via business incentives and tourism enhancement. He recognizes the uniqueness of Vermont’s natural beauty/resources and the abundant underutilized local economic infrastructure, but believes strongly in balancing our quality of life for the next wave of regional economic revitalization. Dave sees a critical need for investing in highways/broadband infrastructure, lowering taxation, tourism rebranding, and working closely with our New York/New Hampshire/Massachusetts/Canadian neighbors.
As a political moderate and fiscal conservative, he is highly skilled at diplomacy and seeking consensus but believes strongly that the status quo in VT is not good enough. He is an extremely strong advocate of small government and minimal taxation.
Dave is a highly trained business diplomat specializing in re-stabilizing projects beyond a billion dollars; a 31-year veteran as a Navy Captain/Marine enlisted; Iraq veteran; Mill River/UVM graduate with three master’s degrees in business/strategic planning/public administration as well as PhD studies in national security; balanced environmentalist; strong education advocate; and a youth organization volunteer.
Devoted husband, father and son; youngest sibling of Bob and Gerry Weeks of Wallingford, married to Leeanne (education PhD currently leading an overseas international K-12 school), parent to son Jake (biotech CPA), daughter Sarah (Physical Assistant student), step son Mitch (music producer), and step daughter Cassandra (undergrad student).
Dave’s abundant government experience with the highest levels of national/international leadership and the critical work of the Chambers of Commerce have inspired his drive to stabilize the chaos in government and the unfortunate erosion of faith in public institutions, and has enhanced a relentless emphasis on service for our community and our state.
To put his legislative goals in a nutshell, Dave stated, “My focus now is to rejuvenate the economic condition in Rutland County while respecting the unique soul of Vermont.”
